The Sanke was bred by Toshiyuki Sakai
of Yamamatsu Koi Farm, is female, 50.5cm, Nisai with sumi still to develop
and a fantastic white skin.

The Showa was bred by Toshio Sakai from Isawa
Nishikigoi Centre, is Sansai, 53cm long and features Toshio Sakai’s
Atarashi sumi. Last Spring the koi was purchased with a fantastic
sumi head pattern which completely disappeared in the mud pond and has now
begun to reappear demonstrating deep black sumi. This is a powerful
koi which will develop over the next few years.
